(OLAM AGRI) – Olam Agri is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Corporate Sustainability Champion award in the agri-business sector (Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature, and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) & Climate Application and Prediction Centre for Central Africa (CAPC-AC) Category) at the International CSR Forum. This recognition celebrates Olam Agri’s exceptional CSR and sustainability initiatives, which have significantly impacted communities and fostered enduring positive change in Cameroon
This prestigious event, held on October 17th and 18th at the SAWA Hotel in Douala, brought together CSR experts, practitioners, public and private sector representatives, civil society, and international development organizations to share knowledge, best practices, and networks on evolving trends in CSR and sustainability. The forum, presided over by representatives from MINEPDED, focused on the theme, “Responding to Climate Change: Challenges and Opportunities for Africa.” Olam Agri’s recognition as a Corporate Sustainability Champion underscores our unwavering commitment to responsible business practices and sustainable development. Our initiatives in recent years have set a benchmark for excellence in the agri-business sector, serving as a model for other companies in Cameroon.
