(BFI) – Olam Agri, a global agribusiness company, marked the International Women’s Day 2023 in Cameroon with a strategic women leadership Golf clinic session in partnership with the Golf Practice of Douala. The sole objective was to demystify the art of Golf, boost Olam Agri women and promote the involvement of all social strata in the knowledge of the virtues of Golf that conveys wellness, leadership and top management.
This session was attended by female employees from different regions who took part in different activities such as; Yoga, Discovery, Initiation and Practice on Golf. In addition, the women also engaged in a workshop discussion session on Personal Development & Work life Balance with a Guest Coach – Dr Eliane Pokossy Doumbé (John Maxwell Certified Coach from Brussels).
At the end of this Golf Clinic organized on the 8th of March, 2023 the GROW ( Globally Reaching Olam Women) Ladies were well equipped with knowledge on golf, leadership and personal development. The Golf Club was also impressed by the initiative and awarded the women with free Golf sessions with their respective families for a period of one month alongside other exciting special gifts.
It was indeed an amazing discovery and a day well spent all thanks to Olam Agri for boosting and empowering its women.
