(OLAM AGRI) – Olam Agri is delighted to announce that we have once again been honoured as the Best Bulk Food Importer of Rice in Cameroon by the Port Authority of Douala (PAD), marking our third consecutive year of receiving this esteemed accolade. This award underscores our commitment to importing high-quality rice brands that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of consumers throughout the country.
The award ceremony was a significant event, showcasing our achievements alongside other leading companies across various categories. We were privileged to accept the award from the Port Authority of Douala, who commended our performance, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.
Veeresh Mallikarjun Hiremath, Senior Vice President and Country Head, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this recognition. He stated, “Receiving this award for the third time is a tremendous honour. It reflects our unwavering dedication to providing the finest rice products to our customers. This recognition inspires us to maintain our position as the leading rice importer in Cameroon.” He further emphasised Olam Agri’s ongoing commitment to ensuring food security in the country.
The Vice President and Business Head for the rice business, Rishiraj Singh Shekewat, also shared his perspective on this achievement, noting, “This accolade is a testament to the hard work of our team and our partners. We are dedicated to supplying nutritious, high-quality rice to consumers across all ten regions of Cameroon. Our mission as a responsible business is to ensure that every Cameroonian has access to our rice products.”
